Fayetteville Street grand Re-Opening Parade

Here's a photo of Don and Dot Cooper with grandaughter Gina along

with Mayor Meeker and his wife at the Fayetteville Street Opening

parade on Saturday July 29. Don and Dot are both Raleigh natives

and have witnessed the Fayetteville history firsthand.

  Wake Forest Classic Cars and the Piedmont Classic

  Chevy Club co-sponsored   a "Cruise-In" Saturday September

  10th from 3pm-8 pm in Downtown Wake Forest.

  The PCCC contributed $500.00 and Wake Forest Classic

  Cars also donated $500.00. The event also raised an

  additional $1000 for a total of over $2000.. All proceeds

  to the Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina Relief.

  Thanks to all who participated and contributed.
